We invite you to submit information about historical sites–including farms, businesses, battle sites, and other places of general historical interest–that are “under Lake Norman.” Find your location using the map below, then complete the form on the right side of the page to submit the information.
Submitted locations/sites will be added to the map periodically (about once per week). All submissions will be reviewed prior to being added to the map. The Davidson College Archives and Special Collections retains editorial control of the map and reserves the right not to include submissions outside the scope of the project.
A page has been created to display the results of the project, including complete stories and histories of the Under Lake Norman sites and larger and additional images. As we receive submissions, the Under Lake Norman page will be expanded.
